Do students need prior experience with Hands-On Equations before beginning Hands-On Equations Fractions?

For students in Grades 3 – 5, it is important that they first have experience with Hands-On Equations Level 1 prior to introducing Hands-On Equations FRACTIONS. For students in grades 6 – 8, it is preferable but not necessary.
