It is the perfect hands-on tool for introducing linear equations in Grades 3 & up. Equations such as 4x + 3 = 3x + 9 are learned in three lessons. These algebra manipulatives consist of pawns, numbered cubes and an image of a balance scale. Dr. Henry Borenson was awarded a patent for this teaching system.
