How does the Developing Fractions Sense program differ from Hands-On Equations Fractions?

The Developing Fractions Sense A, B and C programs deal with the teaching of fractional concepts in grades 3, 4 and 5. These programs help students to conceptualize fractional concepts typically presented in these grades. The Hands-On Equations Fractions program extends the work of Hands-On Equations to equations that have have fractional coefficients.
