Do I need the instructional DVD to use the Hands-On Equations program with my child at home?

The manuals that come with the Hands-On Equations program are fully illustrated and even young children have learned the program directly from the manuals.  However, the Hands-On Equations Instructional DVD does have value as each lesson is demonstrated either by a child or by Dr. Borenson.  The Hands-On Equations Deluxe Home Set includes the DVD.
