Hello. We are former teachers who run programs for homeschool groups and also groups of students in the summer. We have not ever done a math seminar / class yet but recently we came upon Hands On Equations. We currently use it for our homeschool children. Our 2nd grader loves it and is enjoying it even more than our 5th and 7th graders! He is understanding so much!!
Anyway... we were contemplating making this part of one of our summer seminar programs. We would like to help other kids better understand Algebra. It would be my husband and I doing the teaching to 20 students each time and maybe doing three sessions in the summer. We were wondering if you know anyone else who has used the program this way. And if so, could you share their contact information with us? Also, would you be able to provide any discounts on the products or trainings (for my husband and I)? We plan to have each student purchase the materials as part of the course fee so at the end of the summer we would have had to purchase about 60 or more student pieces. Thank you for any help and suggestions you can give us. We appreciate what you have done here and look forward to sharing your methods with other children out there.
